Safety During a Hurricane or Tropical Storm

In the event of an emergency situation due to Hurricane Earl, please make sure you are prepared to be self-sufficient in your home for the first 72 hours. In the event we have to evacuate you from your home, we will be setting up the Community Centre as an Emergency Shelter. We will be issuing regular updates through the media. If you need immediate assistance, e.g. you are flooded out of your home, please call the fire department.

GO! PEI... GO! MURRAY HARBOUR

The GO! PEI Goal is to have 10,000 signed healthy living pledges by the end of July. So far the count is 2090 near the end of July. If you haven't already signed a pledge form we urge you to do so today. All GO! PEI events are free. All that is required is for you to sign a pledge stating two healthy lifestyle choices as your goal to living a healthier life. That's it... no strings attached. Let's put Murray Harbour on the GO! PEI map! Look for Joan at any of the GO! PEI events. She usually has her clipboard of pledge forms close by.

The Murray Harbour Drama Club and Friends are pleased to hold summer ceilidhs every second Friday.
Mark your calendars
September 17th and October 1st.
Admission of $5.00 includes a light lunch. Ceilidhs start at 7:30 pm.

55 Alive – Mature Driving Course
The course was a huge success and some of you have asked when we will be holding another one. Please call the Village Office to get your name on the list, and we will try and arrange an evening course sometime in Octobe.r
